2. Our Privacy-First Approach
BrioDocs is designed with privacy as a core principle — Privacy First: Your Data, Your AI. You choose how AI processes your documents, and each mode handles your data differently:
- On-device (default): All document processing occurs locally on your device. Your documents, queries, and AI outputs never leave your machine, and BrioDocs can run fully offline.
- Brio private models: Your data is processed on Brio's dedicated infrastructure (Brio-hosted or deployed on-premises). It is never used to train models and is never sold or shared with third parties.
- Bring your own key (BYOK): If you connect your own third-party AI provider, your data is sent to and controlled by that provider under their terms and privacy policy. Brio cannot guarantee the privacy of data handled by a third-party provider.
Regardless of which mode you choose, BRIOAI never sells your data and never uses your documents to train our models.

3.1 Website Usage Information
When you visit our website, we may collect:
- IP address and browser information
- Pages visited and time spent on our site
- Referring website information

If you contact us or request a demo, we may collect:

4. Your Documents and AI Processing
When you use BrioDocs in on-device mode, we do not collect, store, or have access to:
- Your documents or files processed by BrioDocs
- AI model inputs or outputs
- Personal or confidential information from your documents
- Usage patterns within the BrioDocs application
When you choose Brio private models or connect your own third-party provider (BYOK), your document content is sent to the selected model in order to generate results. Brio's private models never use your data for training and never share it with third parties. Third-party providers you connect handle your data under their own terms and privacy policies, which are outside our control.
5. How We Use Information
We use collected information to:
- Provide and improve our Service
- Respond to your inquiries and support requests
- Send important updates about our Service
- Analyze website usage to improve user experience

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal information to third parties, except:

In on-device mode, BrioDocs processes your documents locally, so the security of that data depends on your device's own security measures.
